With current information and guidance from the CDC, ADA, and the Governor’s office in Nashville, we want to share our updated policies pertaining to office visits, staff protocols, and office cleaning procedures.

We remain committed to following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Dental Association’s (ADA) recommendations regarding COVID-19 best office practices and procedures.

For Patients:

  • The office reception area is open for patients.
  • Masks are optional. If you prefer to wear a mask, please do so. If you choose not to wear one, you’re free to make that choice as well.
  • If you’re not feeling well or have actually been in contact with someone exhibiting symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID, please be responsible and courteous and let us know in advance of your appointment. We’ll be happy to help you reschedule to a more convenient time.

Staff:

  • All front office staff are required to wear masks throughout the day and wash their hands frequently.
  • All clinical staff are required to wear masks, gloves, protective clothing, and face shields during all procedures as well as to wash their hands between patients.

Office:

  • We have implemented an aggressive cleaning program throughout the day to to limit the possibility of contracting COVID through hand-to-surface transfer.
  • We utilize sterilization measures in each operatory to disinfect all surfaces between patient appointments to further minimize the risk of exposure.
  • We use a special antibacterial ‘fogger’ in the evening to spray the air and all surfaces in order to treat those areas not suitable for sterile wipes or cleaners.
  • Our Surgically Clean Air 6-stage air filtration system is used to enhance environmental safety in the office.

The past months have been supremely challenging for everyone and some challenges are still before us. My staff and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of trust and confidence you continue to show in our ability to create a safe environment for you and your family. Looking ahead, we’re excited and blessed to have your continued support, both from a dental perspective as well as from an overall health and well-being standpoint. We understand that these responsibilities are very serious, which is why we don’t take any of them lightly.

It’s my genuine privilege to have the opportunity to care for you and your family. Words don’t convey my feelings but, please know, I am eternally grateful.

Thank you, and may God in His grace continue to bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Jack Haney
